As I mentioned in my last post, Chase is walking!! He gets braver and braver every day!
He is also clapping his hands to sign for more!! He's COMMUNICATING, not to mention that the hand clapping is so stinking adorable!
Chase's favorite spot in the house...listening to music! Maybe he'll have his daddy's musical skills! If he's crabby, I put him down in this spot, turn on one of Steve Green's CDs for kids, and all is quiet except for the music!
Busy:
Chase's appointments tend to go in spurts, and this week is one of those weeks where I feel empathy for parents of kids with special needs, especially those who have medical problems. Chase doesn't even have a medical condition, like cerebral palsy, and we still go to lots of appointments! I'm busy with him every morning this week except for Monday. Going, going, going! Of course he doesn't like any of it, not that I blame him.
This morning he had a follow-up ultrasound to one done in the summer. Glad that test doesn't take very long because he squirmed and kicked and cried the entire time. I was exhausted by the end from holding him down. Reese went with me, and she was the sweetest big sister, trying to sing to him and telling him what a good job he was doing and that it would be over soon! Maybe she'll be a nurse someday!
