Reese likes to help me bake but she doesn't like the sound of the mixer, so whenever I turn on the mixer, she puts her hands over her ears. One time she looked at the mixer, looked at the eggs on the counter and said, "I wish I were an egg. Then I wouldn't have to plug my ears." (Yes, my dear, what an easy life we would have if we were all eggs!)
Jackson finally wiggled out one of his loose teeth this week. He's been walking around with them sticking out at odd angles for weeks, but he was convinced they weren't loose enough to come out. I finally bribed him with a trip to Cold Stone (since we had a gift card!). Once one of the teeth was out and we arrived at Cold Stone, he had the hard choice of choosing his flavor of ice cream. Except I found out that it's not a hard choice at all if you're a Michigan State fan. You of course choose green because that's your favorite school's color. Never mind if it's not your favorite flavor. You've been loyal and that's all that matters!
